MOR OIY BUT LESS MICKY, STEFAN COOLS IT, ZEE'S ON THE MEND

Micky, Mor Oiy
Late-night TV presenter Saruta "Mor Oiy'' Reungwiriya denies she is seeking the return of her former fiancee, Nattapong "Micky'' Chopcheun, who is now seeing someone else.

She would, however, like him to pay back a portion of the bridal price he gave her for their wedding, which she claims he borrowed to help pay for a motorbike.

The two-year romance between Mor Oiy and Micky came to a sad end, the pair revealed last week, after a so-called third hand - Micky's new love, and a co-presenter Kanokladaa "Pias'' Vichakul - laid a complaint with police.

Pias alerted Bang Khen police after a Facebook user identifying herself as "Jeniya'' accused her of stealing her boyfriend and duping him.

Pias
Media reports widely assume the owner of the account is Mor Oiy, though the presenter herself insists it is a member of her fanclub, merely writing on her behalf.

Mor Oiy, who opened up about her relationship with Micky after Pias' visit to police, says she and Micky parted because he was unfaithful.

The presenter said she was unhappy at first, as their families were close, and she and Micky had made wedding plans.

"We had the wedding dress made, and had ordered wedding cards from a shop in Thong Lor,'' she said.

"We were living together, even though we were not married, in our own condo. We never tried to hide it.''

The presenter said she was grateful members of her fanclub had gone public with their concerns on Facebook, as it forced Pias and Micky out into the open.

"They turned up at the police station without my having to do a thing. It was like pouring hot water into a rat hole. They were anxious to clear themselves,'' she said.

Mor Oiy says all she wants now is the return of the money Micky borrowed, from the cash he gave her to help pay for their wedding. She says she lent 490,000 baht to Micky, so he could buy a Harley-Davidson motorbike.

"I don't want anything from him. He can go where he likes. I don't feel jealous any more. All I want is the return of the money. I'll blow the lot on making merit,'' she joked.

The two had agreed to meet so he could explain how he would pay back the money, but when the time came, he did not turn up.

"He asked me the other day to help pay for the petrol, so I sent him 10,000 baht. What kind of nerve is that?'' she asked.

Mor Oiy said she long suspected Micky was seeing someone else, but hoped he would go back to being the man she loved.

The pair announced they were getting married in May, 2010. Mor Oiy, a former nurse once known for her nearly naked shoots in fashion magazines, demanded a 10 million baht dowry from Micky, who is 10 years her junior.

"Micky was no good in bed, but was pleasant company,'' Mor Oiy told reporters.

A month later, Mor Oiy delayed her marriage plans after designer Kongkiat "Mapraow'' Kehtkaew released revealing pictures of himself with Micky.

Micky admitted knowing Mapraow, but said they were merely friends, not gay lovers.

The couple's wedding, pushed back to November that year, failed to go ahead. Mor Oiy said they kept delaying the big day, but she never gave up hope.

Speaking at the police station, Pias admitted she is close to Micky, though denied snatching him from Mor Oiy.

"I have never met her, but I know that she and Micky stopped going out together ages ago,'' she said.

She denied she and Micky met at his condo to plot their affair as the Facebook entries alleged.

"If it was a matter of wresting him away, like a dessert, or a football, then she might have cause for complaint. But we have grown close over time. We share a similar lifestyle, and talk to each other about everything,'' she said.

Micky, who turned up at the police station to show moral support, denied taking Mor Oiy's money.

"I'm buying a condo with my own earnings, just as I spent my own money on the motorbike,'' he said.

"Pias has been to my condo, but she came with a group of her friends. She did not come alone,'' he said.

"I visit her place to make spicy som tam,'' he said.

Police say they will take action against the author of the Facebook account if she criticises Pias again. -

Cookie
Newcomer Ornalin "Cookie'' Chaiporn is feeling hurt after actor Sunti "Stefan'' Weerabonchai dismissed her claims that the pair were an item.

Cookie, 18, said Stefan was unmanly for telling reporters the two were just friends, when she had told them previously they were seeing each other.

The young actress told the media she and Stefan had been going out since February, and that Stefan even knew her family.

"We have just returned from a family trip to Pattaya. I can't understand why Stefan would tell the media we are just friends,'' a dismayed Cookie told journalists.

"I think he's unmanly, and feel really disappointed. I don't want to see him at the moment,'' she said.

Stefan and she had grown distant since she told the media they were an item. "We argued about it. He says he likes his freedom, wants a relationship to stand the test of time first, and doesn't want to be in the news,'' she said.

Cookie said she was worried her fans would believe she was merely trying to leach off Stefan's fame.

"He's embarrassed me in public. But my family home has security cameras. They show that he was coming around to my place often,'' she said.

Earlier, Cookie denied that she was the third hand who forced Stefan and his previous girlfriend, Tansinee "Som'' Promsut, to part ways.

Som
"Stefan and Som had already broken up when we started talking,'' she told reporters.

Now, stung by Stefan's rejection of her advances, Cookie said she would like to talk to Som about what happened.

"Since we started growing distant, I feel a big sense of relief, and I note that Som said the same thing when she stopped seeing him,'' she said.

Asked about Cookie's claims that he was seeing the young actress, Stefan insisted they were merely friends.

"My mother knows her mother. We weren't going out. She published pictures on Instagram of us together. In fact, she posed with other people as well,'' he said.

Cookie said Stefan had asked if he could pose with her, not the other way around.

"In future I shall have to be more careful before announcing I'm seeing someone. I shall have to study his behaviour over a matter of months,'' she said. -

Zee
Tomboy singer Matanawee "Zee'' Keenan has finally been discharged from hospital, two days later than expected after a setback in her recovery from cranial surgery.

Zee suffered head injuries and a broken left clavicle after a delivery van hit her as she was crossing the road outside Wat Pathum Wanaram in Bangkok.

Doctors at the Police General Hospital discharged Zee on Friday, 10 days after her admission following the accident.

Three days before, her surgeons delayed her discharge, which was originally set for Wednesday.

Zee had complained of severe headaches and vomiting, and X-rays showed bruising to her brain.

On the day of her admission, doctors found Zee was bleeding inside her skull. They opened the top of her scalp in a two-hour operation to relieve the pressure. Two days later, she underwent an operation on her left clavicle.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, surgeon and hospital spokesman, Suporn Jongpanitkuntorn said Zee had suffered a small setback, but was now back on the road to recovery.

"The swelling in the tissues of her brain is normal. We had cut open her head to relieve the pressure, so it is normal that she should feel pain,'' she said.

Doctors had given her two doses of morphine to relieve the discomfort.

Zee thanked her supporters for helping her pull through. Earlier, the pains in her head were so intense, she thought she was going to die.

"My visitors included a fan from Taiwan, who had never left her home country before. When she read news about my accident on my sister's Facebook page, she booked a tour to Bangkok, and visited me along at the hospital,'' the RS Promotions singer said.

"She asked to pose for a photograph, and gave me gifts, as her tour group waited downstairs,'' Zee said.

"I will try my hardest to get well soon,'' she added.
