HE'S STILL WITH ME, A BEVY OF BEAUTIES, BY PUBLIC DEMAND?

Note, Aum, Kae (inset)
A former actress has given A-list star Patcharapa "Aum'' Chaichuea a dressing down after Aum accosted her of taking liberties with her boyfriend.

Rungnapa "Kae'' Phongthipsukon (Nathanin Khunathanat) says Aum is accusing other women of showing inappropriate interest in her boyfriend, even when they have only struck up innocent friendships with the man.

Aum has accused half a dozen celebrities in recent months of trying to lay claims to her man, socialite Kornwat "Note'' Chaiwirawat.

Aum's claimed that at a pub outing, Kae - whom she identified as "K'' - greeted Note with more than just a pat on the back, but a saucy back rub.

"She rubbed her hand across his back like she was feeling up some object before purchase ... I was: `Ohhhh!''' Aum told reporters.

She denied grabbing Kae by the arm in protest, as some reports claimed.

Kae, however, confirms Aum grabbed her, and spoke unpleasantly after witnessing the way she greeted Note.

Aum's reaction was so extreme it attracted the attention of those present, she said.

"I touched him lightly on the back by way of greeting. I didn't affix a sign to it,'' she joked.

"I can understand how a woman feels possessive over her man, but Aum is going over the top,'' Kae said.

Note used to go out with a friend of hers, which is how she knew him. "A friend of mine who arrived before me said Aum and Note had just argued, which might explain her reaction. Why can't they leave their rows at home?'' she asked.

"After I greeted Note, Aum grabbed my elbow and asked me in an aggressive tone how we met.

"She insisted that Note had just told her that we didn't know each other.

"I turned to Note and asked if he had really claimed we were strangers. He admitted, 'Well, OK, maybe I do know you,''' she said.

When Kae attempted to apologise for any misunderstanding, Aum rounded on her.

"If you know each other, why do you have to rub his back?'' Aum asked her.

"Oh ... can't two friends touch each other in greeting?'' she responded.

Kae, a public relations agent since she quit acting, says her friends at the gathering urged her to show restraint with Aum, who was clearly agitated.

"They told me that before Aum approached me, she quizzed Note about whether he knew me.''

At first Note admitted he did, but under closer questioning by Aum, changed his mind.

"No wonder she was jealous,'' said Kae. "But why did Note have to change his mind and say he didn't know me? He's scared of his own girlfriend,'' she suggested.

Kae came forward after Aum on Thursday denied reports that she had grabbed "K'' roughly in a fit of jealousy over Note.

Just one day before that, Aum reigned in her boyfriend publicly after he was seen socialising with starlet "S'' without her knowledge.

Aum took Note before the media to explain claims that he had been seen with a Channel 3 actress widely thought to be Pantitha "Sammie'' Puwijaan.

Note denied anything improper, but for the sake of a peaceful life pledged to avoid seeing women one-on-one, unless Aum knows about it first.

"I probably won't do that [see women] any more. But if I do ...''

Aum cut him off.

"Best not to, don't you think?'' she asked.

"... I probably won't,'' he laughed. "But I know what kind of person I am, and Aum knows me too. I don't have a wandering eye.''

Last month, Aum learned through the media that Note had been seen at a party with actress "J'', thought to be her close friend, Janie Tienposuwan.

Last August, in yet another sighting, Note was linked to socialite kathoey Ratchada "Amie'' Krutramas.

Before taking Note before reporters, Aum complained that Note's relationship with "S'' went further than that with "J''.

Actress Sammie, however, denied she knew Note, though admitted Aum had called to question her about it.

The actress regarded Aum as her idol, and was shocked to get her call.

Forthright Aum, however, insisted her denial lacked credibility, as Note had admitted everything.

The A-list star with a prominent jealous streak said that in future, she would prefer to keep her relationships private.

"Love which is kept under wraps is easier, because no one wants what is mine.

"The moment that women find out who I am seeing, and realise he has all the necessary attributes of a boyfriend, they make their advances,'' she said. -

Ping Ping, Krit, Kri
Celebrity DJ "Krit'' Sripoomset insists he is still single, despite reports that one of his latest lady loves was spotted entering his condo.

Krit said he would rather not comment, as he was afraid any remark would set off a media circus.

The model allegedly spotted entering his condo, Patswipich "Kri'' Sornakarapa, was just as reticent. "I don't want to say if I entered his condo - its personal,'' she said.

Krit, widely regarded as a Romeo, shrugged off media reports linking him with a small bevy of women. "I'm single ... they are all just friends,'' he said, adding the reported sightings gave him a good laugh.

Earlier, actress Raphathorn "Ping Ping'' Eknithiset admitted she was seeing Krit, though insisted they were more like pee nong kan [relatives].

She admitted Krit has many women in his life, but denied she had entered his "stock'' of young ones he likes to keep in spares.

A paparazzo took a picture of them dining together.

"I have only just entered the industry. Pee Krit likes to tell me how to conduct myself. I can't tell if he was flirting or not,'' she said.

Krit has been a free man since he and former long-term love, ex-Grammy singer Marsha Vadhanapanich pulled the plug on their six-year relationship in December, amid claims that Krit's wandering eye had contributed to their split. -

Pinky
Disgraced actress Savika "Pinky'' Chaiyadej insists the public still loves her, despite lingering resentment over her affair with another woman's husband.

She has been an easy media target since news emerged last year of her affair with businessman Peck Sunchai - husband of actress and presenter Tanyaret "Tanya'' Engtrakul.

The doe-eyed actress splits her time between here and overseas, as she attempts to live down the scandal.

In coming weeks, she plans a trip to Finland to learn dance, and to India to revive her fledgling Bollywood career.

"There, I can go about my business. You won't have to see my face. I won't have to worry about news reports of my going here or there,'' she said.

Last week, Pinky was hit with a triple whammy, as suspicious reporters asked whether she had been spotted with Peck at a city eatery ("No''); whether it was true she had smashed her BMW into someone else's car ("I don't drive a BMW, and it didn't happen''), and whether a crowd at a city function had booed her ("Not to my knowledge'').

The last accusation stung. With tears in her eyes, Pinky said she was sick of fielding reporters' wild accusations.

"Did they boo me? All I could see was people smiling. Everyone asked for my picture. The people still love me just as they always did.

"And I would like people to show a little understanding,'' she said.

Asked how she could still be sure that the public loved her, Pinky said she would let time be the judge, but admitted the question made her feel awkward, every time it was asked.

"My family is my greatest source of support. These days, I hardly go anywhere, unless I am with friends; I do not dare,'' she said.
