Pouting Pyjama picture, Keeping his Chin up, It really is the end

Tanya
A saucy photograph has rekindled rumours of an affair between an actress and a celebrity's husband.

Actress and presenter Tanyaret "Tanya" Engtrakul says she has seen an image on her husband's mobile phone of actress Savika "Pinky" Chaiyadej wearing pyjamas and making a saucy face at the camera.

She does not know who sent the picture to her husband Peck Sunchai, and the discovery stirred unpleasant memories for Tanya, who thought she had put the fuss over Peck's alleged affair to bed when the rumours first surfaced in April.

The picture turned up in the media last week, further fanning the flames.

According to initial news reports giving rise to rumours of their affair, Peck and Pinky were caught on a security camera, kissing in the lift of a city hotel. Other reports had them coo-ing over each other in an aircraft.

When reports of his alleged infidelity first surfaced, Tanya threatened to leave her husband. He promised to reform himself, and Tanya asked for time to start anew.

Pinky promised to leave the pair alone - although one report says she also passed on a cheeky request to Tanya, via the media, to take good care of Peck.

Tanya denies passing on the picture to the media to stir up trouble for Pinky. "I don't know if the picture was taken before or after Pinky said she'd keep her distance - but I know I didn't pass it on," said Tanya.

"I suspect the person who made it public was someone who felt angry on my behalf," she said.

Peck had tried to reassure her that there was nothing going on. Tanya said she had no choice but to believe him, though she was adopting a wary stance.

"I was surprised rather than shocked to see the picture. I have no choice but to be wary, no matter how much support my husband is giving me.

"I would like the whole thing to end, but how can I be sure that they have indeed brought it to a close?" she asked.

"I'm big-hearted enough to assume that they might still be in contact as friends ... older brother and younger sister, perhaps. When the rumour first surfaced, I was desperate to find out all I could. Now I just sit in my corner, and hope for the best."

Pinky's mother, Sarinya Chaiyadej, said the picture of her daughter wearing cartoon pyjamas and making provocative facial gestures was sent to her fanclub.

"Anyone may have downloaded it from her fanclub site and sent it on. Perhaps it was someone who has it in for my daughter," she said. -

Andrew
Actor Supamorn "Andrew" Cronin, battling drug charges in court, denies that police asked him to take a urine test which turned out positive for the presence of drugs.

Putting in an upbeat appearance before the media after reporting to court last week, Andrew said he was confident of beating all charges.

The Criminal Court in Ratchada last Monday accepted a case alleging he had taken methamphetamines, and was in possession of .10 grammes of the drug.

Andrew, who was questioned by the court, denied the charges. The court has called him back on July 5.

Andrew was allegedly found with the drugs at an inner-city apartment on March 5.

Crime Suppression Division police raided the Palm Suite condominium on Phahon Yothin Road, Bang Khen. They found the actor alone, allegedly in possession of a small bag of ice, along with paraphernalia for taking the drug.

Bang Khen police charged the Thai/English actor with taking ice, and having the drug in his possession. He claimed the apartment belonged to a friend and he knew nothing about the drugs.

Andrew, who is out on bail, spoke to journalists outside the court. He was confident the courts would deliver justice.

Reports soon after his arrest said police tested his urine, which was found to be positive for the presence of drugs.

They took him to Mongkut Wattana hospital, which performed a similar test, and again, the result was positive.

Asked about the urine test results, Andrew said he knew nothing. "I don't know where those reports came from, as I did not take urine tests at that time," he said.

"I'm 100% sure of beating this thing ... my bosses are just waiting for me to clear it up so I can get back to work." -

Peuy, Big
Sexy actress and model Panward "Peuy" Hemmanee may have a hard time shaking off her latest love, actor and presenter Thongpoom "Big" Siriphiphat.

He is adamant they are meant to be together, even though Peuy has declared the relationship at an end.

Peuy last week declared she was no longer willing to talk about Big (Best Supporting Actor), after Big himself had earlier declared their relationship was over.

Since then he has had second thoughts, pining for her in the media and insisting that pressure of work had forced them apart, nothing else.

Big and Peuy attended the Supannahong (Thai national film) awards last week, but did not speak to each other. Asked about reports that Big was attempting to woo her back, Peuy was unimpressed.

"Why should he try to make up with me, when he's the one who originally called it off?" blunt-spoken Peuy told reporters.

"Maybe I should nominate him for his own Supannahong award," she said sarcastically, when told he was pining for her.

Big had now been demoted from a man she once loved to someone she merely knew.

Asked to comment, Big said that in the beginning, they were inseparable. However, work had since forced them apart. Now they rarely talked.

Asked if he was simply refusing to acknowledge that the relationship was over, Big said he could speak only from his feelings.

"I believe we were meant for each other," he said. "It's like we have already been chosen to be together, come what may.

"I believe this fuss stems from a mere misunderstanding. I hope we can talk about it one day, as I still feel close to Peuy."
