Rocker’s ex-wife wants reunion

Rocker Sek Loso’s former wife says she is willing to go back to the man she has chastised publicly since their messy divorce three years ago as he grapples with serious legal charges that could put him behind bars.
Wiphakorn “Karn” Sookpimay last week rallied behind the influential rocker as he battles a handful of charges relating to a temple handgun incident which quickly spiralled out of control.
Karn said the charges are serious and could end up harming the future of his entire family. She would go back to him to “curb his freedom” and help control his wild ways.
Sek was nabbed at his home on Sunday in Kannayao district, Bangkok, following an incident in Nakhon Si Thammarat the previous Friday in which he shot a handgun into the air, to pay tribute to a statue of King Taksin.
As well as facing firearms charges, he is also charged with resisting arrest and will now face an additional drug charge.
Karn rushed to Kannayao station where Sek was being held after images of the rocker being handcuffed moved her to tears. She said it was the first time they had spoken in three months. She was among the first to offer to pay Sek’s bail, along with a Grammy executive.
However, Karn was beaten to the post by Sek’s little-known younger sister, singer Thaschy “Honge” Nickywell, who also emerged on social media in the wake of his arrest, and who paid the 150,000-baht surety.

Honge |
Karn and Honge traded blows in social media over the days that followed, after Karn earlier questioned Honge’s motives and asked why his family was not around when he needed help.
“Sek’s family has never loved him, they just want to get their hands on his wealth,” Karn claimed.

By the end of the week, after teary selfie videos and media appearances, Karn had declared she would return to the fallen rocker.
“I spoke to our eldest child, Tiger, who studies overseas but had heard the news about his dad,” Karn said. “He asked me to go back to Sek because his life is broken.”

Eve was seen in media footage accompanying the rocker during his arrest drama as it see-sawed between Bangkok and the South, including a 12-hour trip in a police van to Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Little has been heard from Eve over the past week, though Karn suspects she may have paid his bail down South.
While the women in Sek’s life are rallying behind him, the rocker, meanwhile, was busy showing fans that he still has pull with the police.
Sek posted pictures of him in friendly poses with senior police in Kannayao district, and later in the week, with Nakhon Si Thammarat police, which have now resulted in a police inquiry.
The images show Sek, the Kannayao police chief and visitors giving the thumbs-up at the station; and Sek having a meal at an outdoors eatery with a large group of Nakhon Si Thammarat police.

Metropolitan Police Bureau commissioner Pol Lt Gen Chanthep Sesawech ordered the inquiry and transferred the Kannayao police chief and two senior southern investigators.
Sek’s willingness to appeal to figures in high places started on the day of his arrest, when he called on the prime minister via social media to stop police harassing him.
The rocker barricaded himself in his upper-storey bedroom as he negotiated with Kannayao police.
As he instructed girlfriend Eve to start filming the standoff on Facebook live, he told Metropolitan Police Bureau deputy chief Pol Maj Gen Sompong Chingduang, who accompanied the team, that he had known “P’ Oud”, as he called him familiarly, for 10 years, and still had a photo he gave him as a gift on his desk.
He asked P’ Oud to call off his men until his lawyer had arrived. Police ignored him, and called on the Swat team to break down his door.
Sek, seen in the clip holding a handgun, had threatened to shoot anyone who entered the room. After police broke down his door, Sek meekly handed over his gun.

Responding to the fuss, Sek on Wednesday posted a picture of himself sitting cross-legged, smoking a cigar on the cement floor of a jail cell during his stay in the South. Headlined “Jailhouse rock!” he denied he was getting favourable treatment.

“You told me on the phone while I was in the South that we are all friends,” he said, referring to the police chief as “P’ Pae”, his nickname.
Sek returned to Bangkok from the South on Thursday night. The case continues.
Puen gets new gig after cop drama
Puen, abusing police, and post-haircut |
The teenager convicted for abusing a policeman and whose angry young man scene from an upcoming comedy was cut following a public outcry, is enjoying a revival of fortunes after getting a new haircut.
Payu “Puen” Sae Ngaw, convicted in September of abusing a city policeman in a clip which went viral, was hired along with his mother, Sarawan, to enact a similar scene in director Poj Anon’s upcoming movie, Luang Pee Jazz 5G, in which Puen abuses a monk instead.
The scene went down badly with the public when it was released as part of the video for the film’s theme song, with critics saying it set a bad example to youth. Poj axed the scene from the movie and the music video.
That might have been that, until Puen’s appearance with his mother and Poj on TV news show last week in which the young man appears with a new hair style, parted down the side.
It quickly caught on, with a Facebook site, Cute Boys Thailand V2, posting a clip of the show and netizens remarking on Puen’s good looks. Many asked if they could add him as fans.
In the original clip which inspired his brief movie scene, in which Puen swears and spits at a traffic policeman in the Rama IV area, Puen wears his hair down the middle, which netizens agreed made him look rough. With the new hair style, he could enter the entertainment industry properly, they enthused.
Some of the comments: “Drop the middle hair parting; there are enough buffalos out there.”
“Men who think they look great with a middle parting should think again.”
“I have friends who once looked great but when they took up as mechanics and started parting their hair in the middle, I barely recognised them.”
The public would be more inclined to forgive his conduct now that Puen has improved his looks, fans said. Others, however, said a new hair cut could not disguise the young man’s poor manners.
Puen himself, however, seems not interested in the fuss over his looks. In a post he said no one knows what he has been through better than himself.
“The person who had the trouble with police wasn’t you; no one knows what my life is like better than me. If it happened to your family, how would you feel?”
