Poo, recently back from the UK where she has completed her university studies, says she can barely face the public since reports surfaced claiming she was two months pregnant - then, when the baby bump failed to materialise, that she had a secret abortion.
"I cry every day, and won't go near hospitals if I can avoid it. I have a young relative in hospital at the moment, but I hardly dare pay a visit, just in case someone sees me and jumps to conclusions,'' she said last week.
Poo was talking to reporters at an old peoples' home in Bangkok which she visited to make merit.
A few days later, she invited journalists to Pom Raman temple in Ayutthaya, where she consulted a famous monk and released captive animals into the wild to improve her fortunes.
She was accompanied by actress and singer Saranrat "Lydia'' Wisutthithada, and her boyfriend Matthew Deane. Poo said she asked the pair about her problem and they recommended she consult the temple's famous abbot, Phra Ajarn Kasemjanthawemon (Phra Khru Daeng).

The Channel 7 actress, linked in the media to a string of young men, says she is trying to clean up her act. She is busy making a TV soap which goes to air next month.
She is also learning dance and singing, so barely has time for playing around.
However, she also suffers from a persistent stomach and migraine complaint, which require frequent visits to hospital.
"I'm worried that if I go to hospital, fail to suck in my stomach and wander into the wrong department, the stories about my being pregnant or having an abortion could start again,'' she joked.
Poo believes her frequent visits to hospital for her stomach ailment may have encouraged speculation that she is pregnant. A recent report said she had contacted a hospital in Sukhumvit to entrust her pregnancy to the oversight of a gynaecologist.
She insists the stories are untrue. "I have only recently done some modelling work in which my midriff was bare for all to see,'' she said.
"Let time be the proof that what I'm saying is true, she said,'' thumping herself lightly in the abdomen to make her point. -

asked her to take down a billboard picture of herself, draped naked over a
keyboard.
Looktarn says she will strike a less sexy pose, and erect the billboard again, as she doesn't think anyone will be offended.
Looktarn erected a daring billboard of herself in the Lat Phrao area recently, but was forced to remove it after the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration objected.
The billboard shows Looktarn, 42, lying naked on a keyboard, with one hand covering her bare breast, and the other supporting her head. She has closed her bare legs to disguise her private area.
"I put it up to promote my new business, a beauty spa and waxing salon,'' she told reporters last week at a function to mark its opening.
The salon is located close to the Ekamai-Ram Intra expressway in Wang Thonglang district.
"I didn't think it would upset anyone, but the BMA reacted as quick as a flash ... Within a few days of it going up, they had asked me to take it down again,'' she said.
"I will put up another billboard, but the next one will be slightly less explicit. I will have my back to the camera, rather than my front,'' she said. "I haven't sent a copy to the BMA for approval, but imagine it should pass its scrutiny without any problem,'' the model said.
Looktarn is marking her salon's launch with a naughty album of naked body and fashion shoots, which she took here and in the Maldives.
"It's the first time I have posed for the camera in 20 years, and will also be the last. I pose with a handful of models, including Adam, my farang model boyfriend,'' she said.
"We have been together a year. He's younger than me, but a good person.'' -

Tak, known as "Volcano Boobs'' in the popular press, is better known for the size of her breasts than her eyes, but appears to be taking the criticism in her stride.
