The Channel 7 actress was woken by her maid early on Wednesday with news that her notebook computer and about 1,000 baht in cash had been stolen overnight.
Jakjan, her aunt and her maid sleep in the house, but didn't hear a thing. They moved into the two-storey house at Laddarom moo ban, Ratchaphruek-Rattanathibet, Nonthaburi only last month.
The thief - captured on eight closed-circuit security cameras that Jakjan has at the 10 million baht house - let himself in through a side window.

The cameras also filmed him taking a look upstairs, as if he was about to mount them.
"However, he saw the light from the Buddha statue on the wall, and decided against it. Perhaps he was afraid he would wake us,'' said Jakjan.
Police say they suspect a worker at the housing village was responsible, as security into the village is tight.
They have lifted the suspected burglars' fingerprints from inside Jakjan's house, and are comparing them with those at the sleeping quarters of workmen at the housing village.-

A talent manager is engaged in stealth attacks via Twitter with a young actress, whom he accuses of being a fake.
Nirun "Coco'' Limsomwong started his war of words with actress Sumontip "Koop Kip'' Leuangthai after she broke up with actor Mario Maurer.
Koop Kip last month called it quits with Mario after their seven-year relationship failed to "develop'' - though insisted, confusingly, that they were never anything more than friends.
Mario agreed, saying talk of love at their age was inappropriate. "We're too busy working and making money,'' he said.
Coco, who has known the couple since the days that Mario was a member of his talent stable, left a remark on his Twitter page saying he was bored with claims that they were merely friends, when anyone could see it was more than that.
He did not name the couple, nor has Koop Kip named Coco in her response, but it is quite clear who everyone is talking about.
"I'm bored with this deceptive couple who quit but claimed they were never together as boyfriend and girlfriend.
"If that's the case, what were they doing living together at a condo in Ratchadaphisek Soi 10 for so long?'' he asked.
He has since stepped up his attack, referring to an actress called "Gnoop Gnip'' whom he said liked to pilfer money intended for her boyfriend's mother. He said the girl's father had threatened to take his life.
Last week, Koop Kip left a barbed remark on her own Twitter account. "Bad people do only bad things. We should feel sorry for them, and pray. If we don't hold a grudge, and forgive, the badness may go away.''
Asked about her Twitter remark, Koop Kip denied she was singling out Coco personally.
"I don't care what he thinks,'' she retorted.
She denied she and Mario ever lived at the condo together, though he did pay visits - but merely as a friend.
"I left that condo three years ago. That's all in the past,'' she said.
"If you want to know the truth, Mario and I considered coming out as an item, but decided we should take a step back first, to see if it was actually what each of us wanted,'' she said, explaining her decision to cool things off with Mario.
The pair rarely see each other now, as they are too busy.
Mario (Love of Siam, 4 Romances, Rahtree Reborn) left Coco two years ago for rival talent manager Supachai "A'' Sriwichit, who now manages the affairs of both Mario and Koop Kip.
Coco has yet to forgive him for leaving the nest. -
Saucy actress Kree Phaswipitch is feeling chastened after her 15-year-old singer and actor toyboy dumped her for another older woman.
Until recently, Kree took her schoolboy admirer, socialite Wattana "Uab Uan'' Chumsai na Ayuthaya to industry functions, saying she didn't care what people thought about their age difference.
"Fifteen is just a number,'' she said, while admitting the age gap had caused communication problems. She is 13 years his senior. "We're just friends, but I admit he fits my specs, and who knows what the future holds,'' she said in December.
"I want my boyfriends to be younger, as I enjoy the role of leader, rather than follower,'' she said.
Since then, however, Uab Uan has found another older woman who takes his fancy.
He is now seeing Kerika "Ginny'' Chortwijit, from the music label Kamakaze.
"I am closest to Ginny, though we are not yet going out with each other,'' he said.
"I like older women because they look more grown-up than me ... I'm still a kid.
"We are still getting to know each other, but she's a good friend, gives me advice, and is easy to get along with,'' Uab Uan said.
Kree, who says she is now adamantly single, denies she was dumped, or that she has ended up looking silly.
"I don't want people to jump to conclusions. We were only ever just friends, so why should I feel angry?
"If anything, I am worried about Uab Uan, as some people may say he went out with me only to boost his standing in the public eye,'' she said.
She doubts this was true, or they would still be going out. -

Boom took motorcycle racer Thitiphong "Ting Note'' Warokorn in front of the media last week at a function held at the city zoo.
"He's my chauffeur ... he drives well, and takes me everywhere,'' she joked.
"If he's that ugly, why are women falling over themselves to meet him?'' she asked. ``In any case, he has a good heart.''
Boom says the 13 year age gap is no barrier. She likes them younger, and Ting Note acts older than his years. "It might be because he's the oldest child in the family. I'm an only child. He's attentive, and we get along well,'' she said.
Ting Note said Boom, who has been married previously, acts younger than her years. "She's always bumping into things ... she's a forgetful type,'' he said.
Boom denied she had asked her parents if she could marry Ting Note. "My father is still worried about what happened last time,'' she said.
