Cartoon |
The pictures were taken six years ago, when she was just 16, and appear on what looks like a card sent to wedding guests.
That was the same year she entered the Miss Teen Thailand competition, which insists its contestants are single. Cartoon won the ''Miss Hair Care'’ category, which she might have to forfeit if it turns out she was betrothed.
Previously, Cartoon denied ever being married, after boyfriend Pakorn ‘’Dome’’ Lum said he would probably have to call it quits if it turned out that she did get hitched.
He insisted on honesty, and Cartoon had mentioned nothing about it. After the pictures appeared, Cartoon cancelled public engagements, saying she was unwell. She plans to talk to the media this weekend.-

Peemai |
An accompanying diatribe says Bomb, the young man, belonged to Peemai’s best friend, until the actress lured him away.
If that was not enough, a recording of a conversation between Peemai and a friend of the woman she supposedly wronged turned up on the net.
The telephone call was set up; the third party who called Peemai tried to extract from her a confession that she did indeed try to steal Bomb away from their mutual friend Lin.
On webboards, Thais are rallying around Peemai. They are unhappy that this third party - a big girl called Valen who helpfully appears alongside Peemai and Bomb in the leaked pictures - betrayed her by allegedly taping their conversation, then releasing the recording.
The sound clips were a hit on webboards, although Peemai fails to say anything to incriminate herself.
Asked about the fuss, Peemai denied she and Bomb were seeing each other, and insisted they were still just friends.
''I am disappointed she [the woman who set up the call] would do such a thing. However, I understand that she might be angry on behalf of
Lin.'’
In more cheery news for the actress, Gossip Star magazine says Peemai borrowed money for a breast lift from a man she knows.
However, rival rag Dara Daily says Peemai insists this is not so...she gained her impressive cleavage from the sweat of her own brow.
''Just what kind of girl do you think I am?'' she asked. '‘I earn enough to support myself and my family.’'
Better tidings? In the wake of the leaked pics and sound clip controversy, work offers are flooding in for Peemai. Maybe you just can't keep a good girl down.-

Koop Kip, Mario |
They are among Thai stars trying to boost their height by taking acupuncture. Some also get their bodies stretched.
Why go to the bother? Money, of course. Tall actors look better.
''I'm doing it for work,'' says Mario.
The Love of Siam star claims his girlfriend has grown an impressive 3cm. He himself has increased his height 1cm, to 190cm.
An April Fool’s misprint, surely. If not, the young man is an Amazon. His manager Supachai ''A'' Sriwichit has taken stars in his stable for the height-boosting treatment.
One gossip magazine says stretch-and-grow needle therapy is all the rage among Thai stars with money to burn.
Wannabes are also lining up at production companies eager to show how much they have grown. ''Look! I have put on an inch!''
Mario is not saying how much it cost. ''It doesn't hurt, and isn't dangerous,'' he says. ''I used my Mum's money. They didn't say how much more I could grow. It depends on the individual.
''However, it takes a while before you grow - a month of treatment before you gain one centimetre.''
Taller Thais might also make for better soldiers, but if the army is hoping to enlist Mario's services as a model recruit, it will just have to wait.
This week Mario turned up to an army conscription centre, to apply for an exemption from military service.
Thais are balloted to serve as conscripts when they turn 21, but can also apply for an extension until they finish their studies.
Mario says he is busy studying at Ramkamhaeng University, so has no time to don fatigues.
''I talked to my Mum, who agreed this was not the right time,'' he said, while adding he was not sure how many more years he would ask to put it off.
He insisted, however, that he was not trying to shirk his duty to serve the nation, should fortune conspire against him, and he draw the red ‘'Yes, you can serve!'’ card.
When the army announced details of its annual conscription round last month, it named Mario and a country music star as among Thai youngsters whose age qualifies them for this year’s draw.
The other star was singer Sorapob ''Petch'' Leelamekin, who, like Mario, applied for a deferral.
Reporters reminded Mario that he was also busy working as an actor and model, not just studying. ''Okay, I am too busy making money,'' might have been more honest answer.
Mario may have ducked the draft this year, but obligingly put in a word on behalf of the army, urging Thai youngsters to do their duty and serve the nation.
''I would like many Thais to come forward as soldiers. You needn't worry, it's part of being Thai.''
That was painless! Thanks, Mario. Let's hope someone else comes forward to fill your shoes. For the time being, you would rather make money instead, no matter how much you've grown in your boots. -

Aerin |
''The picture of me smoking was posed. I did it as a work project for a friend. It's all in black and white, except for the end of the cigarette, which is glowing red.''
And the blurry eyes? ''That was just when the camera flash happened to catch me.''
Aerin's boss, Exact Entertainment head Takonkiat ''Boy'' Weerawan, came out in her defence, telling the media that to be caught with a cigarette is not the end of the world.
The leaked pictures are more than two years old, but have only just surfaced, courtesy of some sly hand.
Aerin, who shot to fame in the television series Kaew Lom Phet, is stressed by their appearance nonetheless.
''I don't want people to assume I am a party girl,'' she says. ''I work seven days a week, acting and studying.''
Good to hear. It's only mere mortals, not starlets, who get caught losing form at parties. -

Stephan |
That's actor Salamone ''Stephan'' Weeraboonchai, trying to convince himself that chance – not fate – caused him to dislocate a shoulder in a recent charity football game.
Stephan is superstitious. A few months ago he was in a hurry to get a new name, after a fortune teller urged him to change it, or risk meeting a horrible fate.
The young actor had consulted his girlfriend's fortune teller, who said his name could bring him bad luck. He could end up in jail, destitute, or gay.
After turning 25, which Thais regard as a turning point in their lives, Stephan quit driving for 12 months, just to be on the safe side.
Now at 27, his new worry is why fate singled him out for that charity football game injury. He hurt his shoulder shortly before he was to start work on a soap opera, which includes action sequences. Can he put his shoulder into the job?
''I was just about to kick a goal when someone knocked my arm. I flew through the air two metres, but was able to cushion my fall, or I
could have broken my neck as well,'' he said.
''I played in the game to take a break, and do some charity work. It might be down to my unlucky stars, you never know, although accidents can happen at any time.''
