A BOOBY TRAP, BAD IMPERSONATOR, ACCIDENTAL GROPE, VIDEOCLIP APOLOGY

Aimee
So, are they pink, brown, or darker still?

Model Morakot ''Aimee'' Kittisara, whose left breast was exposed at a department store
function when her dress slipped, isn't saying what colour her nipples are, despite speculation set off by a reckless former love interest.

She insists that she holds no grudges after actor Warit ''Ta'' Tipkomuth joked that her nipples are probably black.

The nipple fuss emerged after Aimee, taking part in a fashion show in Pin Khlao, lost the left side of a flimsy evening gown, exposing part of her breast and a sticker she had planted over her nipple as a safeguard.

Playing the part of Queen of the Sahara, Aimee was entering a pool of water, which slaves Thanakrit ''Wan'' Panichwit and Rangsit ''Uan'' Sirananon were pouring for her from large jugs.

Inside the pool, she found she had to get on her knees - but when she started crawling forward, the dress caught under her legs, and pulled down on one side.

So absorbed was she with her role as desert queen, the former Miss Thailand Universe winner did not notice that her dress had fallen. Wan saw it first, and warned her. She calmly yanked the thing upwards, while pouring water over herself as if it was all part of the show.

Later, a tearful Aimee apologised to the public for letting herself down, and insisted she did not do it deliberately. ''I am not the type who likes showing off for the sake of publicity. We took every precaution to make sure the dress stayed in place,'' she said.

Aimee joked with journalists that if they were able to see under her nipple cap, she would like them to retouch her nipples so they looked pink. This prompted Ta to quip that Aimee's nipples are probably dark - a comment which he now admits made him look less than manly, as it only added to poor Aimee's embarrassment.

''He can speculate about my colour as much as likes - I don't show them to anybody,'' Aimee said. Ta, who says he made the comment off the record, is unhappy the joke made it into print. He has apologised for causing Aimee any distress. -

Kwan
Feisty actress Usamanee ''Kwan'’ Waitayanon is under fire after her sister impersonated her in a radio interview. Did she put her up to the task?

Two 94EFM DJs wanted to ask the channel 7 actress, famed for her short temper and fiery relations with other celebrities, about claims that she had fallen out with presenter/actress Nattawara ''Som'' Hongsuwan, with whom she appeared in a recent soap. They phoned her mother to ask if they could call the actress at home.

Mum, who was out, says she called home to let Kwan know, but spoke to her elder sister Kaew instead.

The person who answered the DJs' afternoon call to Kwan's home was the same Kaew, but instead of getting Kwan to take the call, she carried on with the 10-minute interview herself, referring to herself falsely as Kwan throughout.

Listeners sent text messages to the hosts, DJs Nattapong ''Pong'' Taengkasem and Chavalit ''Chao Chao'' Srimunkongtam, saying the voice on the phone did not belong to Kwan, and asking whether they were trying to trick listeners.

The DJs told the woman that she sounded unlike her normal self, and asked if she was unwell.

'''Yes, I'm sick,'' she agreed, and hung up abruptly. Later, the real Kwan called the station to say she had been sleeping and did not know that her sister spoke on air on her behalf. The DJs don't believe her.

Kwan’s mother Pranee also stepped in to explain what happened. Kaew, seeing that her sister was asleep, took the interview herself.

''No sooner had she answered than the DJs asked if it was Kwan, so she just said yes, and then carried on responding to their questions. She did it with good intent - Kwan was unwell, and Kaew didn't want to disturb her,'' said Pranee. She says Kwan called to apologise when she found out the truth.

DJ Chao Chao, who denies the DJs received an apology, is angry listeners were deceived.
'‘We joked with her, asking if this was the real Kwan, but she insisted it was. I have never come across anything like this...Kwan must think we are stupid,'' he said. -

A gossip magazine editor accused of taking liberties with an intern admits he fumbled with her, but claims it was merely an accident. ''Oops - I tripped!''

Maya Channel editor Toi Akner (Kriengkrai Sakunchai) faced a lawsuit for allegedly attempting to steal a kiss and fondling the work exchange student, Phetkamporn ''Oh'' Ngamchopreuk, at his condo office.

Oh, who studies at Sripatum University, is now likely to drop the matter, after Toi apologised.

The pair appeared before the media at Suthisarn police station. Toi, who says his lawyer had planned to counter-sue, said he offered an apology instead after prosecutors called the pair to a meeting.

''I tripped, and grabbed her for support,' he said. ''I was wearing a suit, and we were about head out. The door was open, the driver and her friend were waiting...Oh was bending down, putting on her shoes. I tripped, grabbed her body to break my fall, but said nothing more about it, which led to our misunderstanding.''

Oh says that only Toi knows if that is the truth. She agreed to drop the matter because Toi was ''man enough'' to say sorry, and she did not want the dispute to affect her mother's fledgling luxury car business.

She denied her family had accepted money to drop the case. The most Toi could have suffered was a fine, so pursuing the matter was hardly worth it.

For the cameras, Toi shook hands with Oh, who looked unhappy and barely met his eyes. Police insisted she could withdraw her complaint, but Oh said she would have to ask her mother first.

Earlier, Toi claimed Oh's family had tried to blackmail him. At the police station, Toi said his lawyer instructed him to make that claim, and he was just reading from a script.-

Mod

RS Promotions singer Chutimon ''Mod'' Chairat, of the singing duo Four Mod, was in tears this week as she spoke for the first time about leaked videoclips of herself kissing a young man.

Mod, who has been seen little in public since the videoclips surfaced last month, was asked about reports that she had continued seeing Chulalongkorn University student Christopher Roberts behind her mother's back. The pair went to see a movie and argued in the carpark.

Mod, earlier warned by her RS bosses and Mum alike about her behaviour with Chris after the video spread on the net, said her mum knew about the movie outing. She said she still wanted to act as a good role model to the young - then burst into tears.

''I want to apologise to everyone who is disappointed in me. I will try to do my best. As for the past, I am sorry. I am still young, and did not think,'' she said, sobbing.

On the net, Thais say Mod could do worse than to follow the example set by her singing partner, Sakolrat ''Four'' Wora-urai, who is rarely touched by scandal.

Four, 23, is seeing Pitt Kanchai, from the band C-Quint. Four's mother has asked her to refer to Pitt as a mere friend, rather than boyfriend, as it would cause less fuss should the pair break up.

''We are in the entertainment industry, where everyone is good looking. Mum might be worried that our heads could easily be turned by someone new,'' said Four sensibly.
