No third hand, just meddling DJs
DJ Prachakorn “Sun” Piyasakulkaew has dispelled rumours that a net idol in trouble with the law for showing off too much flesh is behind the break-up of his three-year relationship with another celebrity DJ.

Sun came forward after days of speculation ignited by remarks by his former girlfriend, DJ Sakuntala “TonHorm” Teinpairoj who confirmed the pair had broken up since early May, and left open the question of whether a third hand was involved.
TonHorm |
TonHorm, who recently took on the duties of surrogate mother to her younger brother’s newborn, said she doubted the young boy, Pok Pong, was responsible for the pair drifting apart.
Adding to the rumours, DJ and TV host Kachapa “Mod Dum” Tancharoen flashed his phone during his nightly expose show, Chae, to ask if the owner of the social media account pictured there was the mystery third hand. While he flashed the image for a matter of seconds, it was long enough for netizens to trace the account to that of net idol and “pretty” presenter Jirarat “Kru Blue” Chananto.
Adding fire to the flames, DJ “MaToom” Techin Ploypetch, a close friend of TonHorm’s, told his fans there was little doubt that Blue, as she is known, had acted as a third hand, as she and Sun had been seen everywhere together. He had also been involved in mediation talks with TonHorm, Sun and Blue to “clear the air” amid claims Blue was seeing Sun on the sly, upsetting TonHorm.
Denying he was meddling in TonHorm’s affairs, Matoom claimed he worked in the news and was obliged to comment for the sake of transparency. Matoom claimed he also knew Blue personally, though would not confirm if she and Sun were together.
Sun, who took part in a celebrity boxing tournament last week for Workpoint TV, denied Blue had acted as a third hand, saying he and TonHorm had broken up amicably in early May after growing apart for months. He said TonHorm’s new role of mother had left them with little time together. “She wanted to start a family. I am sorry if I was a poor father to the child, but I just wasn’t ready,” he said.
“She told the media at the start of the year I was free to see other people, but if I had been seeing Blue on the sly do you think she would have put up with it? I wouldn’t be standing here with you now ... I’d be dead,” he joked.
TonHorm had also invited him to consult her on any relationships and said his mother was still free to visit the child after they broke up, so he was mystified to be roped into a four-way phone call in which he was asked to “clear” the matter involving his supposedly seeing Blue. “TonHorm made it cler during the call that there was actually no need to clear anything, as we had broken up,” he said.
Sun, who says he is still single, said he called his mother after their break-up on May 4 to consult her on making up to TornHorm. “I wanted her to be part of my future and I know how hard it is to start with someone else ... but after encountering an incident like this, I am no longer interested,” he said. “But TonHorm has plenty of good about her — why should I relegate her to second-best by seeing someone else?” he said.
Sun said he had known Blue since their school days together in Udon Thani. “We are just pee nong, I have never crossed the line. These days I know her as part of my Line games group, and know nothing about her profession,” he said.
Blue, for her part, says her work, friends and family have suffered since Mod Dum went public with his claims. Netizens hammered her for initially staying silent, which only fed suspicions she had something to hide.
“If the other side thinks her boyfriend was being unfaithful, why would she just sit idle? It’s all just hot air,” Blue declared on social media.
“Don’t whip up stories just to make me look bad. If you want to get in the news, do it yourself, don’t use someone else as your tool to get it,” she added, no doubt referring to the meddling DJs.
Blue poses in sexy outfits on social media, and invites fans to join a Line group where they pay 300-500 baht to see her up close. Compounding her woes, police have taken an interest in her since the storm of publicity, with deputy spokesman Krissana Pattanacharoen saying Crime Suppression Division police were looking into whether she had spread indecent images on the internet. The saga continues.
Thai national artist Chonlathee Thanthong has scrapped plans to seek a divorce from his wife of 27 years, teacher Siriwimol “Poom” Thongma, 51, after he came under fire for seeing a woman 52 years his junior.
Chonlathee and his wife, accompanied by their daughter, Chalalai Thongma, 37, met at the Kanchaburi Family Court last week where Chonlathee had filed his divorce papers. The court had called the parties in for a hearing, with Chonlathee originally threatening to dish the dirt on a troubled union in which he claimed his wife assaulted him and belittled his ancestors.
Chonlathee, 81, is came under fire on social media after admitting he has a live-in partner, Ruksakun “Kade” Jaengprasong, 29. He and his wife went before the media in May with Chonlathee admitting he hadn’t spoken to his wife since he left their marital home in May last year.
Both sides levelled claims of assault against the other, with Poom suggesting, perhaps inevitably, that Kade is a gold-digger. Look tung artist Chonlathee denied he wanted the divorce so he can marry Kade, insisting she is a mere student who helps care for him.
After a five-hour meeting at the court which also included Poom’s lawyer, the pair emerged to say they had buried the hatchet. Earlier, Poom told the media that she hoped her husband would see sense and abandon the claims he gave for justifying the divorce. If he wasn’t prepared to amend the document she would pursue remedies through the justice system.
Chonlathee left the court promptly, saying only that the saga had ended well. Talking to reporters, Poom wouldn’t comment on fate of Kade or whether Chonlathee would come back home.
However, she promised to take good care of him for the rest of his life
Daughter Chalachai said she came to lend encouragement to both. She did not want her father to suffer damage to his reputation in the closing stages of his life.
Sek’s son takes over as manager
Rocker Sek Loso’s young adult son, back from studying overseas, is preparing to relaunch his ailing dad’s career after a dormant patch in which he accepted little work.
Sua, Kan, Sek |
Sua, back from the the United States where he completed a bachelor’s degree, and 20 million baht richer after his father transferred the sum to him as a reward for completing his studies, is taking over as his father’s manager.
Talking to the media last week, Sua said he would take over as manager, a job until recently performed by his mother, Sek’s ex-wife Wiphakorn “Kan” Sukpimai. The job had been complicated by Kan’s fractious relationship with Sek’s live-in lover, former model Apisaya “Eve” Pattanaworasap.
She took to Facebook in February to hail Sek’s return to work after he performed at Ban Rahad Nam in Samut Prakan, his first time on the concert stage since being released from hospital in December last year following treatment for bipolar disorder.
However, the comeback appears to have been patchy, with Sek going through moody patches. He admitted to Sua, his oldest child and one of the couple’s three children, that some days he did not want to get out of bed. “I reckon Dad will be ready to go back to work from Aug 1. Bookings already coming in for big and small events alike, but I haven’t yet confirmed anything, I need to talk to Dad again,” Sua said.
He said his father was doing much better now Sua was back. “Before he kept to himself at home, and didn’t contact family much via Line. Now he looks brighter, talks more, is in the recording studio, and invites me out for meals.”
Sua, who sees his dad a couple of times a week, says he is trying to coax Sek outdoors more, as he likes being at home too much. He said he must also look after his care, including keeping an eye on his meds.
Sua says he has yet to find work of his own since returning from overseas, but is keen on acting. He said he will split his time between his own work when he finds it, and his job as manager for Sek.
