Ying Yae 'slave in her own home'
A well-known "pretty" presenter and model has walked out on her
marriage to a millionaire plastic surgeon after just three months,
declaring she felt like a slave inside their own home.Nonthaporn "Ying Yae" Theerawattanasook vows she won't return to her husband, Nopparat "Mor Song" Rattanawara, owner of the Nopparat Cosmetic Hospital in Bangkok, as they think too differently.
They were in a relationship for nine years before tying the knot in February. Ying Yae revealed last week she told Mor Song twice she would rather call off the relationship rather than plunge into marriage.
"In the end I went ahead because I wanted children. I was in love and thought it could conquer all obstacles," she said.
While Mor Song was a home body, she enjoyed going out, which caused friction between the pair and ultimately led to her walking out on the marriage over Songkran. She said she worked hard, only to have to return home and take care of him.
"I felt like I was the front legs of the relationship for both of us," she said. "I tried to take less of a leadership role, but it didn't work."
Ying Yae, 29, who is 15 years her husband’s junior, said she wanted the relationship to end quietly, but was forced to come forward after Mor Song left disparaging posts on Instagram.
She also admitted misleading the public in February when she claimed Mor Song had agreed to a dowry worth 30 million baht, on top of the luxurious 100 million baht clinic/home they shared.
She says the doctor never gave her a dowry, and the couple concocted the tale to bestow respect on her family. However, she denies walking out after failing to get the dowry.
"I walked out on a secure life virtually empty-handed, and do not want to go back," she said. She left her diamond ring and diamond bracelet with him, but took her diamond earrings.
"People see me as a party girl, and I was subject to curfew; I had to be home by 11.30pm. But that's not the only reason the marriage ended," she said, declining to go into detail.
"I observed the curfew constantly, even though I am a shareholder in many restaurants and have to visit them at night. On the night we argued, a friend invited me out, and I wanted to go. I called the doctor [Mor Song], but he wasn't answering.
"He finally called at midnight and asked why I wasn't home. Later, he accused me of going out too much and letting myself go. I was fed up, so took my ring off in front of him, and said: 'I am obviously not good enough for you.'
"I packed some of my stuff, and left. He said nothing, and has made no contact since I left on April 16, including my birthday on April 20 when I was looking forward to a surprise.
"Instead I heard nothing, so decided to quit, as two lovers should care for each other more than that."
Writing on social media, Mor Song said as far as he was concerned, nothing had changed.
"I still treat Ying Yae well, and didn't force her to do anything. All I asked was she not come home too late, cut down on the socialising, and not publish modelling pictures of herself which were too daring.
"I asked for these things out of concern for her image and her health. She doesn't have to do much at home, and I am proud she has a job. Even though she doesn't do much of what I have asked, no one is criticising. I give her love, respect, and let her have her own way," he insisted.
Mor Song said he had tried to contact his wife and family, with little success. -
2. Peter's wife urges legal action
Ploy and her kids |
In January Ploy herself laid a police complaint against the Facebook site, "Strawberry Tua Mae", after it claimed the couple’s two young children were actually born by different fathers.
Criticising Ploy for being two-faced, it claimed the couple’s youngest son, Puma, was actually born by a male friend of hers, called Bank, but neither was letting on.
Denying Bank is the father, Ploy says her friend helps her bring up the boys, but is actually gay. Like Ploy herself, he is an air flight attendant.
While insisting she has made few demands on Peter as they prepare to enter talks on a possible divorce agreement, Ploy admits she has asked Peter to join her complaint against the Facebook site as a show of good faith.
"I know who makes the website; it is someone close to his biking gang. I suspect it will cause them some difficulty," she said.
Peter left home in mid-2015, soon after Puma was born, supposedly to make a big-bike road show in the provinces. After enduring months of criticism for walking out on his wife and family, Peter only recently contacted Ploy for talks about their future.
She and Peter have two young boys, Panda and Puma. After laying her police complaint in January, Ploy promptly took Puma for a DNA test at Ramathibodi Hospital, to put the naysayers at rest.
"We couldn’t use Peter's DNA but were able to confirm that Panda and Puma are biological brothers with the same parents," she said.
Asked about the drama this month, Peter agreed Puma was his own child.
Explaining his decision to seek a divorce, Peter said he was not ready for marriage, and denied other women were involved. Ploy, for her part, suspects Peter wasn't ready to be a dad.
"I am sorry I made so many demands that he had to walk out of my life," she said in tears. -
3. Thais not overjoyed
Model Amalawan "Amie" Sirikittirat has reunited with her renegade Taiwanese boyfriend, Howard Wang, after five months apart, but not all Thais are pleased.
Amie, known for her large breasts and relationship with tearaway Howard, who was deported from Thailand a few years ago on drugs charges, posted clips last week of the pair kissing at Singapore airport.
The two had just taken flights to meet in Singapore where they shared a few days away.
Amie is seen leaping into Howard’s arms and sharing a brief kiss. He later gives her a playful smack on the bottom.
Netizens said she was too keen to spread her legs as she embraced Howard, and her denim shorts were cut so high up the leg her knickers were exposed.
In another clip, the pair walk from the airport hand in hand.
"She has no sense of time or place, and sets a poor example to her young daughter. Let’s hope she doesn’t grow up thinking such behaviour is normal," one sniffed.
Responding on Instagram, Amie said she didn't show her bottom, so the display of affection was hardly indecent. "Howard is a foreigner, and we always greet each other with a hug," she said. "Also, it was just a quick kiss; we weren't giving each other a lengthy tongue job."
Her younger brother, who accompanied them, was filming the clip.
