Ploy's plea, Tangmo's confusion, patty's dress saga

'Come home Peter, the kids need you'

Ploy and son
The estranged wife of singer and actor Peter Corp Dyrendal is pleading with him to come home and help look after their children, days after she was released from hospital with a debilitating virus.

Ployphan "Ploy" Taveerat, wife of the meandering biker star and mother to their two small children, said she wouldn’t mind having to share her home if Peter insisted on bringing a woman with him. But he should come back and help her shoulder the parenting burden.

She admitted Peter is taking a hammering in social media for being an errant father and urged critics to give him a break.

Ploy’s stay in hospital, the second in less than two weeks after she earlier developed a blood ailment, coincides with the release on social media of images showing Peter and his "gang" of big biker friends on a road trip.

According to the reports, Peter was accompanied by Prissana "Annie" Pannyasirinkul, a co-host of his big-bike TV series, Ride with Me. The two have been linked romantically, though Annie denies she is seeing Peter.

Speaking at the launch last week of a pocketbook she has written on solving life’s problems, Ploy said she hadn’t heard from her husband in five months, since shortly after the birth of their youngest son, Puma.

Ploy, who has battled health problems since childhood, said she was admitted to hospital with a high white blood cell count, and less than a fortnight later went back into care after picking up a virus from Puma and their other child, Panda.

Ploy published pictures of herself in hospital with a saline drip in her arm. She said her weight has plummeted from 52kg to 44kg.

"Someone who knows him told Peter his kids were ill and asked if he was coming back to see them. But he hasn't been in touch," she said.

Ploy said she had seen the pictures of Peter on his latest road trip, but would like to think he and Annie were not rubbing it in.

"I am sure Annie isn't that black-hearted. It's been so long now that I am used to the idea of him having another woman; in fact he may have more than one," she said.

"I am sure he is trying to get back on his feet again. But if you criticise him too much, he may not get the chance."

"As for divorce, someone tells me it is coming close. I am wearing a bit of armour these days. I am worried I won't be able to take it on.

"I don't know if he really will come to visit. Sometimes I don't want to see his face, so I think it would be better if a senior came to talk instead, because I am not sure how to react.

"Actually, he’d probably want to talk about the kids. If he had wanted a divorce, he would have sought one by now. He has told me often he would marry only once in his life.

"If he wanted to bring a new woman to live with us, I am not serious about it. My main duty is looking after the kids and working.

"I would like to give him and Annie some space to breathe. It's really a matter for them, not me, but I would like him to choose his friends carefully. At the moment I doubt he is able to do much thinking for himself," she said.

After Annie’s latest comments, netizens are lashing into Peter, with one saying his indifferent behaviour contrasts with the period immediately after his second child was born, when he couldn’t get enough of the idea of being a young dad.

"When you first had the kids, you were crazy about them. Whenever you went on TV you would talk movingly about your family," one said.

"If you want nothing more to do with Ploy, why not go back and clear up matters, so she can move on with her life? Go back and look at your own flesh and blood."
Peter has not commented on Ploy's invitation. -

2. Actress tries to unravel 'love triangle'

Yard
Actress Pattaratida "Tangmo" Patcharaveerapong admits she called a friend linked to her ex-flame, singer and actor Pakin "Tono" Kumvilaisak, but denies she is trying to scare her off him.

Tangmo said she called her old friend, Channel 3 actress Yardthip "Yard" Ratchapan, after hearing reports she had taken up with Tono, even though she had spotted Yard at a pub with her farang boyfriend, Tony.

"I called her to find out where I stand in relation to Tono. I want to know whether I should wait for him, or retreat," she said last week.

While insisting it would be normal for a woman friend to have a playmate on the side, she admitted she was confused when she heard about Yard taking an interest in Tono.

"I am not jealous or possessive over Tono, and I want to stress that we did not argue over a man. I also asked her about her relationship with Tony, so we tackled both subjects in the one call," she said.

She denied Tono has any reason to worry, despite the fact she has taken to calling women he is linked to in the news.

"I can see nothing wrong with being concerned about him, as we have a shared history and we should part as friends rather than enemies," she said.

Yard has denied she is seeing Tono romantically, insisting they just chat.

Tangmo insists she is getting over her heartbreak at losing Tono, her former fiance who in happier days converted to her Christian religion so they could be together.

In July Tangmo attempted to end her life with a sleeping pill overdose after Tono declared in public they had parted.

"I might meet a Christian one day who can get along with me and is sturdy enough to follow God’s path," she said.

"But I am not earnestly searching for that person or desperately seeking out love. I have learned my lesson. But I haven’t forgotten Tono, and never will." -

3. 'Broken promise' irks fashion label

Munkorn
Actress Pimpaporn "Patty" Sermpanitchakit is brushing off criticism she took a dress from a fashion label without publicising it as promised.

Patty came forward to admit her mistake after the designer said she behaved unethically, and he had placed her on a "blacklist" since the saga broke out a year ago.

Writing on social media, Mungkorn Akara M said the actress, who he did not name directly, took part in a press preview of some of his designs.

"We gave her a dress she could wear to the show," he said.

"Later she asked for another outfit, and said she'd link to us on social media and post a picture.

"But after we sent her the dress she went quiet. We wrote off the episode and just put down to experience.

"But what is not OK is we have since seen her wearing the dress, and she didn't give us any publicity. That’s shameful. Goodbye forever," he sniffed.

Patty claims she simply forgot to credit the label for the dress.

"A stylist invited me to the show, and they gave me one outfit to wear," she said.

"I mentioned the brand on Instagram. About two or three months later, they gave me another outfit, but it was too big. The straps were so long, the dress fell down and exposed my bra.

"Many labels send me outfits to review, and I charge 5,000 baht a time. Regarding this outfit, they didn't hire me, but I said I would wear it as a favour.

"I called to apologise, but they hung up the phone. I suspect the outfit is out of fashion now anyway."
