Channel 7 actress Sornsilp "Manao'' Maneewan has alerted police after an over-enthusiastic fan embarked on a motorcycle odyssey spanning half the country to find her.
Declaring he wanted to marry her, the young man turned up at her family home in Suphan Buri on April 10. He met the actress's mother, who called police.
He declared he had started his journey in Chiang Mai and would carry on until he found her.
Three days later, he turned up at a temple in Pathum Thani, where Manao said she had fled with the help of relatives.
The Miss Thailand 2008 has now alerted Pak Kret police, who are looking for a man, aged about 30, of slight build, pale complexion and with tattoos.
Manao said she is keeping out of sight indoors, and has scaled down her internet activity.
"Miss Thailand organisers have told me to avoid the public gaze,'' she said.
"In truth, I'm too scared to go anywhere, and I didn't want to play over Songkran. If I go outside, I take someone for company. I'm also lying low on social media,'' she said, admitting her internet posts may have helped lead the man to her.
Manao said she was only narrowly able to avoid her suitor at Chong Lom temple in Pathum Thani, which she had visited with her relatives to make merit.
"I knew who he was immediately, and turned my back. He didn't see me,'' she said.
"My mother had called to say a man had turned up at home looking for me.
"My aunt, who also knew the story, told him I wasn't there. He went down to the pier and slept for an hour.
"I took shelter at a house next to the temple, and fled soon after. When he woke up, he saw I wasn't there, so left.''
Manao said she suspects the man on the bike is the same fan who has been calling her Suphan Buri home for two years. She also recalls being approached by an over-zealous fan in Chiang Mai when she visited as part of the Miss Thailand team.
"He calls so often that we had to pull the phone lead from the wall,'' she said.
Manao's mother, Upornthip, said police visited her home to speak to the man, but they let him go.
"I run a nursery, so he kept asking for directions until he found the place,'' she said.
"At first I didn't think anything of it ... I thought he was just a member of her fanclub ... but he insisted he was her actual boyfriend.
"When he spoke, he was always looking away. He also spoke deliriously, and was covered in tattoos.
"I called police, and thought that would be the end of it. But he said he would visit Manao in Pathum Thani, and mentioned the name of the temple which she and her relatives visit.
"He said he followed her trail from her posts on Facebook. He said he was a long-term fan and wanted to marry Manao, as he had never felt this way about anyone,'' she said.
Pak Kret police are liaising with their counterparts in Chiang Mai in the search for the man. -
Dome said on Friday that he and his former girlfriend, TV presenter and actress Jirantanin "Kusjung'' Pitakporntrakul, 20, started growing distant in the middle of last month.
"Kusjung complained I had no time for her, as I was busy with work,'' he said.
"She called me early this month to say she wanted it to end. No more phone calls, Line messages or visiting her at home,'' he said from China, where he is visiting fans and taking in a film festival.
On April Fool's Day, Kusjung claimed on Instagram that she and Dome - known for his angelic good looks and eye for the ladies - were getting engaged.
While she quickly admitted the engagement announcement was a hoax, the stunt upset Dome's mother.
"I spoke to Kusjung, and she apologised. I thought that was it, but a few days later she called off our relationship, and asked me to keep it quiet,'' he said.
"It's unlikely we'll get back together, as I'm busy with work, and she asked with her own words to quit,'' he said.
The internet ran hot last week with reports that Dome, 33, was spotted necking with a singer in a Chiang Mai pub over Songkran, while Kusjung was taking a break with friends in South Korea.
When one unkind woman left a message on Kusjung's Instagram account, alerting her to the Chiang Mai pub sighting, Kusjung asked fans to spare her the painful details.
"Thanks to the bad people. Thanks to those who disappointed me. Thanks to those who gave me the encouragement to fight on. Thanks to myself for being tolerant to the point where I am now strong.
"I have spoken to the unfaithful one, which was fun. We are close. But don't get the idea that you can take me as your love!'' she wrote.
Dome replied promptly, insisting he had done nothing wrong.
"Would you like to know whether I still love you? Don't listen to just one side,'' he implored on Instagram.
By the end of the week, however, Kusjung was openly speaking about herself as single, while Dome admitted the pair had now parted.
Dome said he visited the northern city to promote the work of the band Poison, which he has signed to his record label.
"If you see me going out with anyone, please understand that she's just a singer from my recording label. We tend to go everywhere at the moment,'' he said. -

Actress Savika "Pinky'' Chaiyadej insists her Hong Kong businessman friend, Jason, is real, and has even released a grainy image of him to prove it.
Pinky, who is still repairing her image after her fling a couple of years ago with married businessman Peck Sunchai, said she is reluctant to say too much about Jason, as it may come back to hurt her.
"I don't want to talk too much about love, or I might be accused of boasting,'' she said last week.
"Critics accuse me of having made him up. If I say too much, I'll kill myself in the media.
"Let's just say I'm happy, and would like to thank Steve Jobs for making it possible to fall in love online.
Despite the lack of information, fortune-tellers are encouraged by Pinky's news.
As a woman with a chequered history, they said, Pinky is best suited to a man with flaws. They said Jason, whom they claim has married twice before, fits the bill.
As she released a grainy picture of the young man to the media, Pinky, however, insisted Jason was single.
However, she cannot vouch for reports he is a multi-millionaire, as she is not yet game enough to ask.

"Let me speak like a celebrity, and say we are just friends for now. When we are an item, I will let everyone know.
"It's a big step in my life, though experience has taught me not to expect too much.
"I think he probably has stability and certainty, or he would not have taken it this far. I think it is destiny, but for now love is just taking root.
"I haven't dug into his past to find out whether he's as rich as the stories suggest. Wait until we're going out together and then I'll ask,'' she said.
